Freezer seal

A (chest) freezer has a seal that is especially designed to keep the generated cold air in the freezer compartment. A damaged, broken or torn freezer seal will lead to frost building because warm moist air will enter the freezer. In order to ensure that products are kept at the required conditions the freezer seal must be fit creating an air tight seal. A damaged freezer seal will drive-up your energy bill and cause the cooling compressor to ware more quickly.
