Straightening a Door Seal with Heat
During installation, the door seal may not fit perfectly due to slight deformations in the material. With controlled heat, you can easily bring it back into the correct shape.
Watch the video for a step-by-step example and follow these guidelines:
• Use a hair dryer on a low to medium setting (about 20 cm distance) and keep it moving.
• Warm until flexible, not hot, the material should soften, not melt.
• Gently shape or smooth the seal with a soft cloth or your fingers while heating.
• Let it cool in the closed position (door or drawer) so it retains its correct shape.
