Over the past year, we have worked hard to make our product range clearer.
Important update
Our webshop will be temporarily unavailable in the morning on October 1st to implement the profile code changes. Your order history will remain fully intact and current orders will be automatically converted to the new profile codes.
Besides seals made of standard PVC, we also offer more and more profiles made of Soft PVC and TPE.
These materials are more flexible at low temperatures and therefore easier and quicker to install. Seals made of TPE also have a longer lifespan as they are less sensitive to the action of greases and/or aggressive cleaning agents.
The table below summarises the main differences between the materials.
In the new catalogue, the profiles available in Soft PVC and TPE are indicated by a material symbol and have an addition in the profile code:
- S in the profile code stands for ‘Soft PVC’ e.g. 195-MS
- E in the profile code stands for ‘Extended Life’, e.g. 195-ME
All profile codes can still be found via the search function. From there, if relevant, you will be directed to the new profile code.
For example 124-M is a profile made of TPE and thus renamed 124-ME.
