Tips on how to replace a fridge seal can be found in step 4 of our step-by-step plan.
Fitting a push-in fridge seal
Fridge seals with a push-in (dart profile) can be fitted quite easily. Start at the top corners, press the new seal into the channel between the corners (be sure to press firmly, to make sure the dart is locking in place).
Fitting a lip or flap profile fridge seal
Fridge seals with a lip or flap profile can be fitted by gently pulling the flap over the metal plate of the refrigerator door. Use screws or pop rivets to fix the profile to the door.
